Peer Integration and the Stages of Change Toolkit

This toolkit contains extensive resources for providers who are interested in implementing peer support services, and for organizations that are in the process of implementing peer support services. Based on the Stages of Change model, the toolkit walks through integrating peer support services from the precontemplation stage through to the wellness and potential recurrence stage. The toolkit also provides discussion of what types of peer services are billable, using volunteer versus paid peer positions, core peer support values, and organizational strategies and tools to prepare and implement the addition and integration of peer support services (e.g., peer certification criteria, budget modeling, organizational readiness assessments, model peer job descriptions, hiring considerations, model wellness plan, peer supervision considerations).
